"We also have a SIR, Sir Michael Wilshaw Director of Education who in 2003 was appointed as the first principle of MossbourneCityAcademy at the failed HackneyDownsSchool.
Now this is going to frighten people, but this info comes from a very good source a source I trust. My source told me many years ago that many children are cloned without the knowledge of the parents. I wondered why they would do this.  In investigating these Academies, especially in relation to their need for underground spaces and I cite the current Brent councils planning application for just such an Academy right next door to a police station known to have a underground terrorist cell attachment, I feel we are going to witness the first use of these clones by swapping your children for these mind controlled clones."

Edmond Halley was born in Haggerston, London, England in 1656, the son of a wealthy soapboiler."for I suppose you'll admit that boiling soap is about as unpleasant work as there is." EE Halley married Mary Tooke in 1682. The couple had three children. He spent most of his time on lunar observations, but was also interested in the problems of gravity...
"The original manor of Haggerston school stood where those new flats were built in the 90's, opposite Laburnum School. Edmond Halley was born around there. His study was actually on the site of those flats. There was uproar from historians and the heritage people when the flats were built. If they'd had time for a dig, they would have found significant archaeological remains, material relating to Halley, the discoverer of the comet." p177 (source)
Edmond & Mary have come back to Haggerston & of a sudden it's got all built-up. They are most keen to meet all the local scientists, artists, philosophers, philanthropists & entrepreneurs, after all Edmond is used to the world of commerce, patents etc. The first wharf of call is of course Broadway Market!"Now there are 80 more stalls to welcome you. And while they don’t all seek to match John’s competitive prices, they all offer something special, and they all offer one thing for free: a welcoming smile.Spirit (left) (no, he's really left) represents the soul of the Broadway Market community. Spirit is far too proud to ask for help: the community rose spontaneously to help one of their own, as they rose to defend others evicted by developers. The street market acts as a focus for the community, it exists solely for the community. Spirit was forced out before he could fully benefit from the revival it has brought. But children still ask for him: to them he was Spirit the coconut man." (source)

The UBS Bridge Academy, Haggerston

Marcel Ospel, chairman of Swiss banking giant UBS, became Europe's biggest casualty of the credit crunch after he fell on his sword as the bank announced another £9.6bn of
subprime writedowns.
The bank said it will cut more jobs, particularly at UBS investment banking headquarters in London's Broadgate, where hundreds of bankers have already lost their jobs.
UBS approached the establishment of The Bridge Academy as it would any business proposition: providing clear governance; necessary resourcing; targets, monitoring, etc. It drew on best corporate practice, e.g. accountability, administrative rigour and project management, combining this with best educational practice. The project has enabled UBS to marshal its entire panoply of resources to a unique degree. Existing sponsorships with national arts organisations such as the LSO and Tate together with existing charitable and community partnerships have been leveraged to deliver a broad range of new activity to benefit Academy staff and students. This project has involved the whole firm, built UBS culture and morale and created an exciting and sustainable partnership. The vision is to build and expand this outstanding Education Business Partnership.
UBS limited involvement in curriculum planning to areas it knows about:
• Insistence on promoting love of learning;
• Choice of specialisms;
• Early investment in staff to allow planning time;
• Brokered links to its own partners, to enhance curriculum and prepare
students for tertiary education and the world of work;
• Encouraged the Academy to develop the innovative ‘Flexible Friday’ curriculum which would, in particular, provide an opportunity for partnership working between UBS and The Bridge Academy.
UBS’s sponsorship has also had significant impact on the Academies programme overall, UBS itself and the wider community.

Impact

  • In a recent survey over 63% of UBS employees 'feel good' about UBS’s contribution to the community
  • 10,957 volunteer hours have been contributed to Bridge Academy Hackney’s development in UBS time, with over 886 volunteers getting involved
  • In a 2007/08 survey 97% students agreed with statement ‘I like this school’ and 100% agreed with the statement “I am enjoying my lessons”
  • Unprecedented overall attendance level to date (96%)
  • 90% of students are learning to play musical instrument (source)
